One Day While I Was Walking Down The Street...
I wrote this one in the early 80's also. I wrote lyrics to it too, but my brother, Bill, said that they sounded like I just made them up on the spur of the moment - not very good poetry. Well, he was right. So I recorded it without singing. Bill was generous and very trusting of me. He let me break open his Moog synthesizer and add an input jack to the VCF (voltage-controlled filter). I connected his bass guitar into the jack and tweaked the thing so it made the bass sound tuba-like. I found by tweaking a little more, that I could make it sound even more bizarre. So, I left it that way. So, I'm on guitar and bass and Bill is on piano. We're just having fun, so don't take this too seriously... .
